Ananya:
Comes from Sanskrit (अनन्या) and means, "to be unique."

Niketana:
Comes from Sanskrit (निकेतन) and means "house" or "temple.

News from the school

Currently there are 3 classes (6th, 7th and 8th grade) in SRI SATHYA SAI ANANYA-NIKETANAM SCHOOL in Udupi, which are attended by a total of 63 students. We, as an association support through donations all their education, accommodation, food and everything they need to live. We also support the construction of the school building.
